Throughout American political history we see power swing between Republicans and Democrats. When one party fails to live up to the expectations of the public, the public switches gears and heads towards the other party. As we saw in the 2010 elections, the Republican party came out with a major win and gave the Democrats a ‘shellacking’. This was reflective of the fact that the public is disillusioned with Obama and every promise he has failed to keep. The Republican party is rising once again. In my blog I will discuss the rise of conservatism and the Republican party and how it has changed its image over the last couple of years to what it has become today to what it will be like in the future as the 2012 elections draw near. The red tide is rising. Will you be a part of it? Hopefully, I can convince you!
